Revenue, costs, receipts and payments are period totals. Closing cash and DSO are month-end snapshots. Gross margin = (revenue − cost of sales) ÷ revenue. Operating profit = revenue − cost of sales − operating expenses. Cash starts at $100k in January and rolls forward by receipts less payments. DSO is an illustrative monthly KPI, not calculated from this table. Targets are demonstration settings, not advice. Figures exclude GST; financing, tax and investing flows are omitted.

REPORTING, EXPLAINED

A few things
worth knowing.

Can you use our accounting software and spreadsheets?

We assess the reports, exports or interfaces available from your existing tools. The proposal confirms which sources can be used, how information will be transferred and who maintains it. An integration is only included when its access and feasibility have been confirmed.

Will our dashboards update automatically?

Refresh can be manual, scheduled or more frequent depending on the source systems, access and platform. We agree the refresh process and show the reporting period clearly. The examples above are static sample datasets, not live feeds.

Can you tailor reports for different teams?

Yes. We can scope views for owners, management and operational teams. Metric definitions, permissions and any confidential information are considered as part of the design.

Can you provide monthly commentary as well?

Management reporting and CFO advisory can be combined in an agreed engagement, including variance commentary, a performance discussion and follow-up actions.
